About NOMADS
Restaurant NOMADS is the concept of close friends Jaap Kin and Thomas Mutsaers. After years of preparations and a successful crowdfunding campaign, they opened the doors of their first restaurant on the 25th of April 2018.
NOMADS is a restaurant with a ‘traveling’ world cuisine. Twice a year, Jaap & Thomas take the plane in search of undiscovered culinary gems. When they return with a great deal of inspiration and a backpack filled with delicious local products and herbs, the foundation for an incredible new menu is laid. This way you can experience two different world cuisines prepared by us with passion in Amsterdam East every year.

How we select our dishes.
Where do we get our inspiration from? Simple: on the ground. in contact with locals who really know the food of their country. Check out our trip to Portugal (NOMADS destination april – december 2019).
